How do you get to the nuts on a front hood emblem on a 64 goat,

How do you replace the hood emblem on a 64 goat, can,t find a way in to the nuts

Try a search for this question, I believe I asked a while ago. Answer was it only has 1 nut on inside, under the hood secondary latch.

That is right. There is one hex nut you can get to. The other post uses a barrel nut. After you remove the hex nut, you will probably still have to pry straight up gently to get the barrel nut to release. Don't get to mean with it or the second post will break off.
