Marine fuel filter for a Quadrajet
 

Does anyone know where I can buy one? Cliff's site does not show one.

revision: I should say a Cliff recommended equivalent.

What is the carb number?

Call cliff, he has them, sent me one for the q-jet I have. Pretty sure they are a common marine filter though, check a local marina or do some googling but cliff will have them or can tell you where to get them.

I got mine at our local napa but I'm sure the boat place up the street sells them too.

I did a quick google search and all kinds of them popped up on the interwebs.

Many of them look to be some sort of a plastic construction now. Mine is a stainless mesh screen that is cleanable. I saw a couple of those pop up as well.

Sorry, but newer than any of my documentation; was going to get you a part number.

I stock them and they come in my Marine carburetor rebuild kits.

You can buy them directly off the website just order this filter and type in "Marine" for the carburetor part number.....

Yes but who knows if they are the same or one is better than another, Cliff's research would remove any questions. I also remember reading here there may be a lighter spring to compliment it.

If you stick with the stainless ones you'll be fine. That's what napa was selling when I bought mine.

I don't care for the plastic looking things and wouldn't try one.
