Custom oil pan question
 

I am finally putting my turbo engine together, and it looks like my Langer pan is going to hang too low...What have you guys used with a 7-7 1/4 deep sump that can hold 8+ quarts of oil? I am currently at 11 3/4 crank centerline, so I dont want to raise the engine...If I have to build one, I will, but i'd rather buy something due to time reasons...

A dry sump is looking like my best option, but that is going to change numerous things that have already been sorted out...And will make space become an issue.

I run my pan with an 11” crank centerline 🤷*♂️

Mine is currently at 4" off the ground with the car sitting an inch higher than I want...This is in a drag & drive car that will see hundreds of road miles...With the engine location, the rear of the sump is about 16" behind the front tire centerline, which will make it a bear to navigate over many road obstacles...

Do you have, or know of anyone that would have a roughed up bottom half? I think if I could shorten the sump, I can make it work, but this pan is absolutely perfect and I dont want to cut it up...
