1970 Keylime Green vs 1971 Tropical Lime Paint
I bought a quart of paint locally to paint underneath my trunk lid and around the doors of my 71 GTO. The paint code is 43, Tropical Lime. I gave this information to they guy that mixed my paint and when I went to pick it up, it was marked "43 Citrus Green." I questioned him on that and he said that is what it was named in their system but it is the same mixing formula as Tropical Lime. It appears that Citrus Green was a 1970 GM color used on Camaros and some Chevelles. I think the Pontiac version was named Keylime Green in 1970. Is Keylime Green and Tropical Lime the same color, just named differently? Just looking at pictures, they appear very close and both share the 43 paint code. Thanks
