Name this Control Panel

I am getting around to troubleshooting my AC/Heat and have a question.
Can anyone identify this Vintage Air (supposedly) control panel? https://forums.maxperformanceinc.com...1&d=1757947382 It seems the controls are reversed. Heat turns on the AC and AC turns on the Heat. I have been able to get the heat fixed, by replacing a bad and disconnected valve, but I cant find this particular control panel associated with Vintage Air. |
Figured it out. Apparently, this IS the correct sure fit panel for cars with factory air.

Looks like it has usual Vintage Air control knob functions just adapted to a slide lever configuration.

Is it possible that the cal was not done correctly? I have a Classic Auto Air system, and it basically works the same: enter cal mode, and put sliders in the appropriate position as called out in the cal procedure, to remember the resistance setting on the 10k ohm sliders.
Consider starting there. Maybe the installer taught it wrong? Interesting enough, your current control panel is how mine is set up: cold left, hot right. Dash vent position is all the way left. My system took the factory air control head and converted it to fly by wire, so it looks factory. If you were feeling adventurous, you could possibly reverse the slide resistors upside down so that the max/min resistance sides are swapped. Then your functionality would likely match your controls. |
Thanks! I'll give the resistors a try. Honestly, it works fine, the OCD in me just cant stand the mislabelling.
