Best throw out Bearing
I’m putting a 67 Muncie in my 1977 Trans Am. What is the best most Durable do it once and forget about it throw out Bearing

As you can tell I’ve done this before where it basically crumbled onto the ground in pieces. lesson learned to not get it at oriellys .

I like Timken or SK. There’s 3 different bearing lengths, make sure you match yours up.

I would add Bower/BCA and NDH, (New Departure Hyatt) to the list of good ones. But may be hard to source those. Finding USA made ones may be difficult as well. I try to stay away from the bearings that have a plastic sleeve/collar and also a plastic cage for the balls in this application. Finding quality parts is more and more difficult every day.

NDH -first I heard of Hyatt Bearing was pulling apart a stock 65 Chevelle 12 bolt this month. Pinion , carrier and axle bearings all Hyatt.
