Victor Jr intake
1 Attachment(s)
Guess this is a new shorter intake, take it it just came out? New to me anyway. For those who haven't seen it yet. Looks like a nice piece
|
Real hard to tell from that downward photo, but it looks like it’s not quite as tall as a T2, but it has Victor sized runners .
|
1.125 shorter than a Victor per Butler

|
About the height of a Northwind. Interesting
|
Nice.
Get one into a high end porters hands and lets see what it will do ! Might be great for the 2nd gen guys. |
I did not have a single 4 bbl Warrior to measure mine was the tunnel ram when I was doing my list.
If the have a 4500 might could even fit a Dominator on the IA Camaro ! no room even with a "regular" cowl hood. Be interesting to see what it actually is-wonder if they are trying to compete with the North wind? Just eyeballing the north wind looks to have a bigger plenum than even the regular Victor |
Just looked on Edelbrock site and not mentioned,
|
It looks like it's missing the second boss for mounting the 71 on up throttle brackets.

Rodney Butler posted that image on Facebook.

Looks like the top of the intake flange at the head is nearly same height as valve cover gasket

If one wanted to convert it to a 4500 it does not look like there is enough meat down the sides.

Looks like a raised Street Dominator
|
Anyone heard any more about this intake?
|
I donta like the JR namesake for any Pontiac. S/S for Street/Strip, or
T/A for to sell into shaker scoop capability. Geez, support Spreadbore for the carb cfm. And Dominator flange for the capable Holley. |
