Any power numbers or times?

Scott Stoneburg 11-04-2025 09:54 PM

So for any power estimates I can only relay this...
The engine was in a full interior 70 GTO with AC. We raced from a 2nd gear roll a couple times. My car is a Firebird, ran low 10s at 130 at the time. I was a little faster but not a blow out.

If anyone wants the owners info just PM me and I will get it to you.

I spoke with the owner, he did have the car at the track 1 time for a grudge race. Here is a picture of the car off the starting line. It was an 1/8th mile track, ran 7.05 in the 1/8th, he doesn't remember the mph. Wallace calculators put the power level tight at 600hp based on the ET.

Very nice engine, it'd probably cost triple to duplicate it in today's market.
