A pic of my engine on the run in stand. Tomorrow is when we plan to start it up if everything goes to plan.

My friend who owns the stand has considerable more experience with engines and general mechanics. will be here to help.

He has been here several times during the assembly to guide and help.

You have a roller cam? Minimize your time on the run-stand. Get that thing in a vehicle, or on a dyno so the rings and cylinder walls can see some loading, and then some high-vacuum. Alternate load and vacuum to assure the rings and walls are appropriately broken-in.

Dont forget to take the rags out of the exhaust ports before you fire it up!

pull the bellhousing so you can check for rear main seal infant death failure and rear oil pan seal leaks
