66 tripower floats
 

Which floats would be correct for the end and center carbs

I have the 65 tripower. The single one on the right looks correct for the small base 65 center carb.
the 4 on left look to be correct for the larger base front and rear on mine.
I would imagine for 66 large base center carb would use them also.(just guessing)

All large floats on '66.

Thank you both. A few days ago, I submerged all of the large floats in 140 deg. F water. No leaks. Then, just out of curiosity I placed each float on an electronic scale.
All came in at .4 oz. So, floats seem good.

For quite a few years, I've seen many brass floats leak. I test each one by submerging in water at about 200 degrees. I scrap every one that leaks, as I have not had good success with re-soldering the seams. These floats are 60 plus years old. The aftermarket brass floats are noted to be unreliable.

Pontiac switched to nitrophyl (plastic) floats in 1968, likely for cost savings. I have found the plastic floats to be more reliable than brass.
