How to remove wiper blades
 

How do you pop off the wiper blade from the arm on a 77 Trans Am? Just picked up some new blades. Attached a pic of the blade.

Get a thin flat blade screw driver and wedge it in between the blade and arm, a little twist or pry will pop it out. Its a press fit.

You might want to shoot a little penetrating oil in there as well. It looks a bit corroded, although my old eyes might be deceiving me!

lift one side of arm up and then push in the middle, spring tension keeps those originals on

Thanks all - successfully replaced them. Pretty easy.

Many of the replacement arms are to tall to retract under the hood.
