MAT/IAT Placement Terminator X

I'm installing a Terminator X in my Firebird and wanted to get your opinion on where to place the MAT sensor.

I'm going to run a 90* at the manifold and a 102mm LS style throttle body. I know that in front of the TB would be best, but I don't have that option until I set up a cold air system.

I'm thinking in the back of the 90, a couple of inches above where it bolts to the intake (firewall side). What do you think?

That's where I welded a bung on my adapter and put my air temp sensor. Just note that it'll be subject to heat soak but you can account for that in the tune using air temp corrections.

Mine is in the back of my intake elbow. It’s next to the remote IAC.

I did mine on the front, bottom of my elbow, but really, it can go just about anywhere.

IMO closer to the intake it is the better, but that's just my way of thinking, I have no tech info to support that.
