Need Installation Tips for the Power Trunk Lock Solenoid Harness
 

I had the trunk lid on my 69 Lemans replaced and need to install the power trunk lock solenoid harness. I assume others here have done this - any tips on how to feed the wire without it getting stuck in trunk the bracing?

I've had luck running the wire up from the hinge area with a taped loop at the front. then I run a piece of coathanger wire with a small hook formed on it from the solenoid opening area to snag it.

a rub of the solenoid wire with an oily rag helps it slide better
