If you want to use a 4 speed trans on the 57...

If you want to use a 4 speed trans on the 57 engine you'll need a 59 or 60 bellhousing to match up to the engine and bolt up to a 4 speed. the earlier bellhousing won't work.

It's an original 55 balancer with the double pully, I added power steering. I found one with the rubber still in very good condition that didn't have any rubber deterioration. I don't think it spun...
