1966 Pontiac Bonneville Brougham Edition 2dr HT Sports Coupe

I bought a beautiful 1966 Pontiac Bonneville 2dr HT with the fancy Brougham Edition and 90k original miles.
It's a very rust free car and build in Southgate, CA.
One Repaint but matching numbers...

Oh wow! I didn't know that.
Mine is a 1966 Bonneville 421ci.
The part on ebay looks identical as mine. You can tell by comparing both photos.

There must be a cause or indicator why the water temp stays solid when driving below 55mph but once going above for a few miles steady, the temp is climbing...

Well, I checked the temp on the hoses with two different infra temp guns...both are reading similar numbers.
I don't know what is the best spot to point the temp gun to measure an accurate...
