downpipes from Pypes with the SGG10S Pypes kit.

The only issue I had was clearance was very tight going by one...

Ya I'm having trouble finding a metal one for BOP. I hadn't though of cutting the hole in the other side. Its not a bad idea, but it might make it too flimsy if I don't fill the uneeded hole.

I used the system from Pypes in my 78 GP with a 400 and they it very well. They has a number of different now pipes if are using manifolds or shorty headers combined with your engine.

I just did this a few years ago. The heads on my 400 are "newer" and have the same mounting hole in the front of drivers side head in which the pivot bolt for the alternator and PS bracket bolts...
