I dont know about that. I have a 1966 catalina and I am about 90 percent sure that it has a switch pitch 400 in it. I was told you could identify them by a imprint like a shoe in the tranny oil...

I took all of the freeze plugs out of the heads...

I took all of the freeze plugs out of the heads and I didnt mark which one is left and which is right. They are 72 7J2 heads I cant tell which one was origionaly the crossover. Or does it matter...

I was wondering if there was a website out there that had the head bolt tightening sequence for a pontiac. Its a 66 389. I know the torque specs. but my book doesnt have what order to go in.
