This is a true "quick fix". Most purest will not agree with me but I am not one, just a person that drives MY 67 GTO around 10,000 a year and loves it. I just went to Pep-Boys and bought a rebuilt. It is the EXACT same one that was on my car and it has worked fine for years. Comes with a guarentee but has a core charge. Just hang on to yours and rebuild it at leasure. Put yours back in an resll the other. Very quick fix and I believe they are around $35. I find it a lot easier to rebuild something when I want to and not when I have to. Get out and enjoy the weather!
