It really depends on what you want to do and if you will be keeping the car for awhile.
4spd Pro- better resale value, can be more fun (when everything is working properly).
4spd con- More cost, more maintenence, slower at the drags (generally speaking, there are exceptions). less consistant
Auto pro- more fun to drive (especially if you use the phone or you drink a slurpee), less maintenence, less cost, more consistent and easiler to go rounds should you go to the drags.
auto con- not many
