Thanks for the info. To answer your question, I was originally looking to go the #16 route but others (on this site and off) recommended reworking the original heads as it would allow me to dial in the compression ratio to be more pump gas friendly as opposed to the #16s. I also like the idea of keeping the original #14 heads as the rest of the car (with the exception of the 4bbl carb and intake) is numbers matching. A third reason would be to save a little $$$ by not having to buy and most likely have to pay shipping for #16 heads.
