i am working on my dads 64 GTO, and i just put the tri power back on it. there was an edelbrock 4bbl put on, when the engine got rebuilt a few years ago. the new distributor that got put on though has vaccuum advance that went into the 4bbl, but it doesn't have anywhere to go on the 3x2's. the tranny is a 4 speed, and i read that you don't need the advance with synchromesh trannys. so my question is, can we just let the hose hang there? or does something else need to be done?
