Pittsburgh64, I did the same as you. I searched everywhere, the only company I could find with a 235/75r14 is Coker. I figured for what they wanted for the tires, I could get the 15" wheels. Then I'd have my choice of tires. Still waiting to have the extra $600 for the 15" wheels!
The 15" wheels work fine with the 8-lugs. The companies I've talked to actually use the centers out of OE 14" 8-lug wheels, then weld them into 15" outers.
