Agree on Fram filters. We cut open a Fram filter.
Inside was a filter media with about 1/2 the number of pleats as a NAPA Gold, in other words only half the filtering as a Gold filter. It had cardboard ends glued to media and had a string tied around the media to keep it round I guess. it had a piece of tin bent (bi-metal spring) for a bypass spring instead of a real spring!! Pure junk.
Sorry but that's the way it is, I won't use a Fram om my lawn mower !!!
