I replaced front and rear coils in my '66 Lemans Convt. a couple of years ago. For the fronts I purchased, from my local auto shop, a pair of stock replacements for an air conditioned car(mine does not have AC). This gave the front the exact height I was looking for. I replaced the rear with '66 LeMans station wagon springs...again, I ordered them from my local auto parts store. I am not too happy with these springs because the make the car situp and inch or two higher than the front. To combat this, I keep a 70 lbs sand bag(double lined)in the trunk. The evens the car out and give it the stance I want.
I believe PY, Ames, or Y1 may sell a higher than normal spring that is between the stock spring(which sits too low) and the S/W spring(which for me sits too hight). If I find out for sure, I'll let you know.
