yes jyd, that is 425 or so per shift.......2 shifts of 10 hours, knocks out about 800+ truck a day. 52 or so per hour down the main line. most painting is done with automation these days. presently only inside door jambs & applying some extra paint over sanded areas prior are manual, with robotics soon to be their also. the repair line is where I spend most of my time these days painting dso (dealer special order colors), this is an older line which moves slower where a repair unit is masked except panal to be repainted. it is mostly automated now as well.
