All this talk about caps has caught my interest. I have a core and my car came with a new cap uninstalled in the box. I think I'll put them together and see how it works - there's lots of good info here. My thought on it is that if the cap is tight you can easily file or cut away some of the core to ensure a good fit. Just don't get carried away
