While I also agree a gun is always best for getting an even match with paint, I have used the SEM aerosol cans for my interior with great success. No color match problems at all. You cant skimp though...you have to get the vinyl and plastic prep along with the paint and use them all appropriately according to their labels.
The key though is painting when there is little/no humidity. The label calls this out, but adhere to it! If its too humid youll get a lot of spots that will dull when they dry. I figured I was doing something wrong on the prep side, so I redid the pieces several times, but the same result always occurred. It wasnt until i called SEM tech support that I was set straight. Waited for the air to dry out, painted them up, and its been great for 5+ years now.
