Hi Tom, I recall yours has the Instrument Panel Pad and IIRC a 1 in Box 47? Please recheck because I also recall you telling me that you think it had a factory installed Clock too.

Tony's is just one example that does have the I.P. Pad and only the Code in Box 47 can be connected to it (7 in his case). And the car also came with what was likely the factory installed Clock and probably the Glove Box Lamp, just like I expected for Code 477.
As I mentioned earllier, I believe the I.P. Pad, Electric Clock, plus the Glove Box Lamp are the 3 options that were coded in this Box. This is based on evidence collected from numerous Docs and comparing my decode to evidence found in the cars themselves.
For all I know, maybe there was a Code 473 too for some option that is just so uncommon that I've never seen it on a Doc.
But based on the evidence that I have collected, I show Code 476 as I.P. Pad & Electric Clock. So the lady was 1/2 right (IMO!).
I show the Clock alone as Code 472. And the I.P. Pad alone as Code 471.
The problem is for examples where the Doc might show 471 but the car has the I.P. Pad plus a Clock. My opinion is that the Clock was installed as a Dealer Accessory. But unless the Owner knows that to be true or unless the Original Window Sticker exists, I can't be 100% certain. Your GTO might be one such example of that.
Plus, none of these 3 options are identified by Fisher Trim Codes, so can't get help from seeing the Data Plate.
Are you sure the lady showed the Tach as 392? According to our exchanges 3 years ago, you indicated by email that she listed the Tach in the Box 47 codes (which I concluded had to be wrong after a lot more research). I am 90% confident the Tach is Code 392, I'm just curious if she did show it that way and you just reported it to me incorrectly first go round.
