Those early radials tended to explode if driven too fast. I imagine the shock absorber troubles were caused by the crappy tires. From the Brock Yates article: |
Cool pic - when Steve Loudin last entered his 74 SD in the Cannonball Race after it was restored he hit 150 mph with it --good tires ( Z rated ) does make a difference .
He also got a AWARD from Brock Yates -- Awesome !!!! .
