On my 69 Goat, the drivers side inner guard/fender has a molded bump right in the middle at the top near to where it attaches to the fender. It's around 3" long and 1/2" deep.
Why is it there? With my drop spindles now fitted my tire scrubs on this area.
I can't see any point in it, so will be removing it, but I am curious.
