Be careful if you have to change the dash pad. I just did a pad and panel in my cousin's 69 and the new pads don't have the steel reinforcement core. The plastic oval clips don't have anything to expand against, nothin but the vinyl. It would be better to have an original one restored unless they are making them now with the steel core.
