Rob, hang in there until Charles finds out what Cardone has done or is doing. I myself have not heard if any new part number for the "correct" pump has been assigned yet by Cardone. Last I'd heard it had not been given a new part number, and that was from our last comversation with Cardone a week or so ago.

Numbers found at different parts stores lately might not have anything to do with this "correct" pump. If anyone gets one of these pumps, make sure you look at it before you buy it. It might still be the pump with the shaved impeller vanes, and not be what everyone is looking for.

We can only pass on what we're told by Cardone. And so far it's not much info.... just that they are working on it. What they need right now is a set of good original correct divider plates from back in the 60s, not the SS repo plates, so they can get the pumps checked and out to everyone that needs one.
