With respect to Pontiacs, my friends have a '64 GTO hardtop that they bought in '67. About 10 years ago, it had 259,000. Still had the tripower with vacuum parts and factory transistor ignition. They stopped using it as a daily driver around then. The original wheel stud holes had become oval.
