It still has the data plate and the vin! I just started decoding it for him tonight... I'm not as quick with gto's(this is our 1st gto) because we mostly have had firebirds in the family. It's really cool to see something different show up at the house.

Thanks! I've been lurking around here for a while and though this was an interesting find. At the moment it will be collecting dust due to other projects that are more "restorable". All week we have been talking about different ideas for it... I know it will eventually move under its own power again and it definitely won't visit a dirt track.
The seller said it had a th400, but I haven't looked at it yet and the rear end is a non posi pontiac of some sort. I haven't found any identification tags on it yet.
