Some of the rocker stud holes will need much shorter inserts, as they are nowhere near .750 deep. If I recall, the material depth over the intake ports is less than .500. With isky adjustable guide plates installed, the intake rocker studs protrude through the intake runners ~.100.

What were you running on the Superchief's for cam lobe lift, rocker ratio and spring pressure?
