I almost forgot my Sunday post again!
I still have some stuff to do and more parts to buy but I can drive the car. I am finding a lot of rattles but most of them are coming from me!
I thought I had a big transmission problem today. I was going to take my wife out for a ride but the car wouldn't shift into second. I changed oil last night and wondered if I had hit anything under the car. Sure enough, I knocked the vacuum line off the transmission.
It's not easy trying to hook it back up with a hot exhaust pipe in the way. After burning my right hand twice I switched to my left and burned it three times but I got the hose back on and went for the ride.
I worked on some minor stuff last Monday for about 4 hours and I will add that to my totals next week. I ordered some parts from our host and they should be here in a few days.
