Amen brother....

I had so many issues with my GM vehicles that I actually wrote a letter to GM. I explained that my family had been all GM since my grandfather got home from WWII. I listed all the vehicles that we had purchased from them over the years and even included pictures of the 71 Chevelle SS I owned at the time. Why? Because at 43,000 miles the trans went in my 97 Tahoe that I bought new. 43,000 frigging miles! My tranny guy told me that it was a known defect and that GM was ignoring it. I basically got a form letter back from GM and if you read through all the mumbo jumbo it really said tough $#@!.

And don't even get me started with my wife's crappy 98 Gran Prix GTP.That car had been in the shop no less than 7-8 times before it hit 30K miles. What a frigging turd. We traded the Gran Prix in on a Honda CR-V, that Honda now has 99,000 miles on it and we've done NOTHING to it. So if it's Kool Aid I'm drinking....it tastes pretty damn good.
