I was there when Ken was trying to sort these out. We tried different cams, converters, gears, hell even transmissions.
The simple FACT was the set of CV1's that Ken had sucked. You can only throw so much time and money at a turd. He tried a set of Dave's off the shelf heads and the car went quicker.
That was called a TEST, as in back to back testing, kind of like Dick just did.
