Yep, that's right. When the E-heads first come out the hight water mark was the 310 cfm jobs from Butler. My 400 made 620 hp with those heads, a KRE ported Warrior and a 1050 Dominator on pump gas at 11:1 compression. That was back in the mid 90's when those heads where as good as you could get.
Wow have times changed. We are VERY lucky to have the aftermarket support for Pontiacs today. KRE. Edelbrock, Allpontiac, BOP, Roland Racing, and Visner and others who have invested their time and money to support the development of the Pontiac engine. Thanks to all of these companies who have help us move the Pontiac engine forward.
Look at Buick, Olds and Caddy's and tell me we aren't doing great. It's good to be a Pontiac person!
