Development at the high end of the technology food chain eventually helps the racer with the more modest program. 18 years ago, a ported set of E-heads was cutting edge. Now look.....

Yep, that's right. When the E-heads first come out the hight water mark was the 310 cfm jobs from Butler. My 400 made 620 hp with those heads, a KRE ported Warrior and a 1050 Dominator on pump gas at 11:1 compression. That was back in the mid 90's when those heads where as good as you could get.
Wow have times changed. We are VERY lucky to have the aftermarket support for Pontiacs today. KRE. Edelbrock, Allpontiac, BOP, Roland Racing, and Visner and others who have invested their time and money to support the development of the Pontiac engine. Thanks to all of these companies who have help us move the Pontiac engine forward. Look at Buick, Olds and Caddy's and tell me we aren't doing great. It's good to be a Pontiac person! |

Don't let the ding dongs, liars and morons bother you brother.... we know the truth! The heads look like a nice start Jack, valve placement looked good and I think it can be made to work well for you.

Why is it whenever there is a good head, motor, part or whatever these threads get pissed on with people trying to validate its worth by how much it cost.
Bang for the buck chit. A good part is........ a good idea, good engineering, and then the ability to produce it. Money has nothing to do with it. Money is only a detail , and a tool that brings those things together. |

Jack,
Congrats on the new direction. I am curious why you went this direction vs the traditional Pontiac head design Visner offers? I spent a fair amount of time talking with David Visner, really nice guy with great ideas. He did tell me he sold a second set now too. Calvin Hill Hill Performance 708-250-7420 |

Interesting looking head,, wild what can be
done these days and how far CnC has taken us. My hands still hurt from 37 years of grinding,, wish we had Cnc in those days! I'm sure if Gaby is involved it's going to be a very serous running project! Curtis
