I'm sure in the big picture of perfection, there's a decline in perfect strength quality in all my examples above, but I don't think that tiny decline drops below the threshhold of safety or parts failure in my opinion. Do you trust your seatbelts? According to the experts, you should toss every belt you have and get every one of them re-webbed if they're more than 5 years old or the sun has ever shown on them! I think it's all a conspiracy from the hardware/parts mfgrs/seatbelt companies to make us buy their stuff!
