In a perfect world the crank woulda rubbed on that corner for a little bit, self clearanced, the oil flow would have washed the debris away from the bearing and down into the pan, and into the filter and with the first oil change when you cut the filter you woulda seen a little debris, not given it a second thought and today you would be all smiles.
