The threads will strip easily on these trying to remove them, many are put back with glue after a clock, or face fix.

This is the only knob it had in 1970 and is correct

This below is wrong, has the 70 knob on top the late 71 (and up) bottom. should be slim screw in there instead of the black top, there was no need to for 2 knurled knobs..

A picture of what the bottom knob should look like Birds after Dec of 1970 ( roughly) the 2 parts on left is a repop of it
