The transmissions themselves are very close in price, especially if you include the cost of converter. At least that was my point.

As I mentioned, you approach the project as you do any other that is over X dollars, you can handle the peripherals the same, by saving and purchasing in stages. Plan it out. Live with whatever you have now and go for the big picture maybe is a way to look at it. In the long run, you spend less if you properly plan.
