Was toroidal part of your anesthesia? If so, it’s a paralytic drug so it may still be in your system. I know I’ve had problems urinating after all my back surgeries because of it. Additionally, it’s common practice to insert a catheter in surgery patients. They might have removed it or inserted it a little bit too rough which irritated your urethra causing the pain. Be there , done that!
