I usually look for vent/wing windows on the doors to tell if its a 68 or 69 .

I'd definitely buy one if i had a 68.
You can disassemble them and paint interior//exterior any colors you want.
They don't give a good view of rear bumper - so its probably going to be just a little bit iffy back there coming off a 69 rehash.
Wouldn't be too hard to come up with a chrome piece to glue in as a faux divider bar for the vent windows.
