Not as easy as it seems. Most FBOs and airports strengthened their security protocols after 9-11 to prevent unauthorized access to the ramp areas. Then, you have the problems of road tax payment. Additionally Avgas 100LL isn’t the panacea many believe it to be due to difference in specific gravity and vapor pressure.
