As other have said, I believe certain dealers probably had more pull than others. Maybe just because of the volume they turned over or whatever.
When my wagon was ordered, (Lester Goodson Pontiac out of Houston TX. Built in the Arlington Plant, code R) I'm guessing that wasn't one of the dealers, because he seemed to get everything else on it, just not the HO.
Do you still have any paperwork on that wagon that would have the VIN? I'd be curious as to what the PHS would say on it.
