No, I ordered the TKX as shipped from Tremac with no upgrades. I ran the TKO-600 with no mods at 600 H/P and torque and never an issue. No tack times though. As far as transmission, a friend Richard Guido runs a T56 in his turbo-ed 65 GTO, at 8.75 @164 mph. He was just at Sick-week in Florida. Depends what your plans are for the car, which transmission you go with.
