Knock wood but I bought my wife a 2016 Camry Hybrid new. It has 106k miles on it with a CVT and not a stitch of trouble. Also, still has it's original brakes and batteries, including the 12v lead acid battery.

Hybrids with CVT are different. They're a planetary gear setup with the gas engine driving one input, and the electric on another input. Varying the speed of the electric changes the ratio of the transmission. Not much to go wrong.
The non hybrids get the steel belt type cvt. I've had 2 honda's with them. They scare me, but i've had no trouble. It definitely doesn't feel too good under wot though.
